Terms of Service
Last updated: July 24, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Carevine's mobile applications, website at carevine.app, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Carevine helps families and co-parents coordinate schedules, custody arrangements, messaging, health and care information, documents, expenses, payments, and related features. Features may vary by platform, subscription plan, and availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter these Terms and, where you add information about a child, that you are a parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to do so.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated. Notify us promptly at support@carevine.app if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive purposes
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your relationship to a child or co-parent
- Upload malware, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service
- Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Use call recording or messaging features in violation of consent or wiretap laws
- Use Carevine to provide professional legal, medical, or financial advice to others
- Resell or misuse the Service except as expressly permitted
5. Co-parenting and shared content
When you connect with a co-parent or grant access (including mediator access), certain information becomes visible according to the sharing settings and roles you configure. You are responsible for what you share and for resolving disputes with other users about content, schedules, or access. Carevine does not adjudicate custody disputes or replace court orders.
6. Not legal, medical, or financial advice
Carevine provides organizational and communication tools. Content in the Service — including court-record exports, tone guidance, communication guides, health logs, and payment tracking — is not legal advice, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or financial advice. Always consult qualified professionals and follow applicable court orders and laws.
7. Court records and exports
Export and verification features are designed to help you produce timestamped, integrity-checked records of activity you choose to include. They do not guarantee admissibility in any court or proceeding. You are responsible for how you use and present exported materials.
8. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and plan features are shown in the app or on our website at purchase. Mobile subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by those stores and subject to their refund and cancellation rules. Web or other payment flows may be processed by Stripe or similar providers. Taxes may apply. Unless required by law or store policy, fees are non-refundable.
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew until you cancel through the store or billing settings that apply to your purchase. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
9. Wallets and money features
Where wallet, payment-request, or support-payment features are available, they are tools for tracking and facilitating transfers between users. Carevine is not a bank, money transmitter (unless separately licensed and disclosed), or escrow agent unless expressly stated. You are responsible for the accuracy of payment amounts and for compliance with support orders and tax obligations.
10. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Carevine a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and to grant this license.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, and design, is owned by Carevine and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or code except the limited right to use the Service as permitted.
12. Third-party services
Integrations (calendars, authentication, payments, calling, app stores) are subject to third-party terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAREVINE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO CAREVINE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Carevine and its affiliates from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right — including misuse of recordings or child information.
16. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence require otherwise. Courts in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory protections.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
